In the beginging of this video, the shots with just their feet looks intersting and effective. in our song the rappers talk about their trainers a lot so shots like that would be helpful.

Costumes

for our music video we want the males to wear American style clothing, including baggy trousers, long, big t-shirts and trainers. this is the look that the cool kids wear and fits the song because they talk about there clothes being baggy in the actual song. the clothes should be bright. we want them to wear a lot of jewelery and stunnas (glasses)and also bright hats.
The female dancers will wear American style clothing as well, including bright colors and American designers. they wil also wear stunnas and jewelery.

More Ideas

in this video the quick shot changes look good because there are in time with the beat. we hope to get the same quality of quick shot changes. also the shots with the rapper on his own with close up and wide shots, we like the way the rapper looks comfortable with what he is doing, and hope that our rappers will look the same.

We liked many ideas from this video. We enjoyed the hype of the dancing and would like to incoperate this into our video. We also liked the close up shots of the rappers, this looked interesting and effective and the alternating shots of the rappers when they had there verse each looked good and we hope to do this with the two different rappers we have. We may also try the black and white colouring like the video because it makes the video look more graphic and expensive.

We thought the lighting in this video was very effective and we want to include something like this in our video. This would be one of our modern features.

our initial ideas

Our initial ideas for our video included an old skool hip hop theme. We wanted to do this beacuse the theme would fit the song genre well. We also thought of having a dance routine done by females as the lip syncing wold be done by males. Along with the old skool hip hop theme we wanted to follow the old skool hip hop conventions, but with a modern twist. The conventions we wanted to use were the old push bikes that were used in the 1970s and grafitti backgrounds.

The cool kids are a hip hop/rap duo. They beleive that there music is very different for this decade.
